At Follow-Me we already have a few methods to help you with your setup should you be running into difficulties –

In advance of this, we would generally recommend using existing resources to help make sure best practices are being followed. This would be using the Online Video Tutorials, User Manual, Demo Software & other resources with a ‘My Follow-Me’ account. These can help you retrace your steps and identify any potential issues.

These resources give detailed information on how to setup and configure a system. 

In addition, with software version V0.0.643 onwards we have the new Setup Wizard, this will step-by-step guide you through the setup process – Giving extra information & videos to explain the process. 

This is found, by clicking ‘New Document’, then ’New Document with Setup Wizard’. 

Most support requests come from a misunderstanding of some of the fundamental Follow-Me processes, such as – 

• Measurement of the space and understanding of the coordinate system.
• Camera refinement.
• Universe & merging setup.
• Fixture positioning, rotations & refinement.
• Fine tuning procedures
• For Follow-Me Track-iT, understanding of Ultra-wide band Radio and Anchor/Tag placement.

When contacting technical support we’d ask you to provide the support package. This can be generated by clicking on ‘Help’, then ‘Generate Support Package’. The zipped folder will automatically be placed on the desktop, ready for you to email it to us.

This support package gives us your showfile and various other support related files. Note – This package is asked for only to assist helping you & is treated with the strictest confidence.

Finally, a screenshot of your video window can really help us see additional issues or help visualise your space. Via the usual method on a Mac, the screenshot is taken by holding the Shift, Command, and 3 keys, or alternatively do it within Quicktime. Again, this screenshot is treated with the strictest confidence.
